It has been sometime that I have done a wrap up (I believe the last one was in September?). Things have been busy. Work, school and trying to keep some form of social life does take away from other things. Let’s not also forget the various anxiety attacks and blah blah. Anyway, I would like to say thank you to the faceless and the faces I know, who have been either following my instagram, twitter or reading my blog. The fact that you all have been taking the time to view my page despite my inconsistencies are just inspirational. So I appreciate that. But listed below are my stats.

Despite how busy I have been, I took the month of April to catch up on my reading. Still have a boat load of backlog to go through but I did some damage to that pile, arcs and physical books. I am very proud of myself.
I also participated in my first book related event: Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon! Only completed 2 books because it was a last minute thing but it was fun and cute. I love being part of the book community and activity participating in these events just showed me how cool it could be.
Overall, April was a interesting month. School is over and I have break before my summer class. Which means, more reading and writing. I’m looking forward to it.
Can you believe it? We are in October and I am writing a post for my September wrap up. Time is moving fast and I am not ready for it. But any way September was a month of renewal. So here are the basics:

I am extremely proud of myself as I was determined to get back on track with my arcs. I still have some ways to go but man I did good. But back to my original statement that September was a month of renewal.
I went to the library for the first time in months and it was great to be in that environment. It was quiet, clean and peaceful. I have no idea why I stopped going but the goal is to go once a week as part of my new self- care routine.
At the same time, I also rediscovered my love for reading and renovating my home. Although I am a bit stressed out, my time management is way better than it use to be.
Overall, despite time moving faster then I can handle, taking it day by day and being positive is making a difference in my life.
August is done. Well in a few hours it will be done. Time is moving super fast and let me tell you… the fall is looking amazing for my bookshelves and my kindle library. But back to August.

Consistency is key. And although I have been slacked on my posting, September I am making an effort to post more despite school, work and side projects. Thee saying goes if its important you’ll make time for it and Motif by Tanya is extremely important to me and I will get it back on track.
Short wrap up this month but I look forward to September :)
The month of July was big on Manga. I was in a really bad reading slump, so reading novels was not a priority. But that is not to say that there wasn’t a few thrown in there.

Beyond Motif by Tanya, life overall was interesting in July.
Vacation to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic 🏖was amazing.
And a exciting scary turning point happened that has led to a opportunity that I am ready to put my all into. Changes are needed in my career and I am looking forward to the next step :) Also school kicked my behind; it wasn’t my best semester but I have 2 semesters down and looking forward to the third.
Overall guys, the website is going in a new direction, with a lot more posts and interactions (fingers crossed). I’m getting my mind and emotions right. I look forward to this time and I hope you guys do too!😘
